Title transparency is a term used to describe the true representation of a healthcare professional’s titles, qualifications, and roles, and it has direct implications for your personal healthcare experience.

The American College of Radiology (ACR) bestows one of its highest honors upon members in good standing through recognition as a Fellow of the American College of Radiology. ACR Fellows demonstrate a distinguished record of service to the College, organized radiology, teaching, and/or research. This prestigious honor is awarded to only 15 percent of current ACR members. The title of Fellow of ACR is conferred upon diagnostic radiologists, radiation oncologists, interventional radiologists, medical physicists, and nuclear medicine physicians during the convocation ceremony held at the ACR Annual Meeting.
